Getting Started

  • Plug the TurboTune device into your vehicle's OBD2 port.
  • Turn your vehicle ignition to the ON position.
  • Open the TurboTune app.
  • Tap Start TurboTune.
  • Connect to the device via Bluetooth, typically labeled "OBDII".
  • Once connected, the app will begin reading RPM data and enabling engine sound.

Device not connecting

Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone, make sure the vehicle ignition is ON, and confirm the device is properly plugged into the OBD2 port.

No engine sound

Verify the app is connected to the device, check your vehicle's audio system volume, and ensure the engine and music balance is adjusted correctly in the app.

App not responding

Close and reopen the app, then restart your phone if needed.

Can I still play music?

Yes. TurboTune is designed so music can continue in the background while you balance engine sound and music in the app.

What do I need to use TurboTune?

You need a TurboTune OBD2 device, a compatible vehicle with an OBD2 port, and Bluetooth enabled on your phone.

TurboTune does not collect, store, or share any personal information.

The app connects to a compatible OBD2 device via Bluetooth to read vehicle data such as engine RPM. This data is processed locally on the device and is not transmitted to any external servers.

TurboTune does not require user accounts, logins, or personal identifiers.

No analytics, tracking, or third-party data collection services are used.
